Is it just me or do you also think that Web 2.0/social media is our generation’s desperate way of trying to find meaning and majesty in ephemeral stuff like t-shirts and talent shows? No? Okay.

While I’m futzing around the computer this evening, I happened to hear the single most bizarre, fucked-up, awesome advertising slogan ever. For Reach toothbrushes, of all things.

Here it is.

“Cleans like a firm. Feels like a soft.”

Cleans like a motherfucking firm? Feels like a what? I totally want to go out with the crew that came up with that one, but I totally want to work for the dude that sold it.
